Live Concerts

  • Live at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. Nightwish is a Finnish symphonic power metal band, formed in 1996 They are considered one of the bands responsible for the development and rise in popularity of symphonic metal at the end of the 1990s, as well as the creation of the subgenre symphonic power metal. For fans, this show that we captured in 2008 is not to be missed.
  • Live at the Rose Garden Arena, Portland. This band needs no introduction and this show from 2008 is a must see. It's our edit of their publicly available stems and we've made the whole show free to view - no subscription necessary. You're welcome!
  • Live at the Metro Theatre, Sydney. One of the early west coast (California) punk bands, they became much more than that over the years (whilst never losing their punk roots). Driven primarily by Tony Sly (lead singer, guitarist and chief songwriter), the band came to an abrupt end with his untimely death in 2012. We caught them in full flight during 2008 around the time of the release of the aptly named ‘Feel Good Record of the Year’!
  • Live at The Forum, Melbourne. Variously described over the years as ‘metalcore’, ‘progressive metalcore’, alternative metal’, industrial metal’ and ‘nu metal’ (amongst other sub-genres), we’re pretty sure you’re getting the picture! Formed in Sydney, Australia in 2009, these guys are currently crushing it more than ever. We captured the band in stellar form earlier this year as they barnstormed around the country in support of their sixth (and amazing) album ‘Obsidian’ released in April 2022. This was one of two nights at Melbourne’s Forum Theatre and the band served up an extraordinary performance to the sold out (and mental!) crowd. Turn it up! (Fun fact - Northlane took their name from a 2007 track ‘North Lane’ by the British act Architects, And yes, we have a show by Architects right here on Moshcam. You're welcome!)
  • Another great Australian act to join our World Stage 2022 project. Please welcome to the stage the fantastic Ocean Alley with their "cruisey psych, rock and reggae fusion" (thanks Happy, couldn’t have described it better ourselves!). Originally from the northern beaches of Sydney, they are now taking on the world. We captured them here in early 2022 before a capacity crowd at Brisbane’s fabulous Riverstage. Get on board!
  • Live at the Roundhouse, Sydney. Another giant of the metalcore scene, this American outfit emerged in 2009 and released their debut album in 2010. We caught them on their first tour of Australia in 2011 (supporting The Amity Affliction) which followed the release of their seminal second album ‘The Flood’ earlier that year. Given the timing of this show, it not surprisingly features founding member and original lead vocalist Austin Carlisle (who departed for good in 2016).
  • Live at Manning Bar, Sydney. With their roots in 60s pop psychedelia, Of Montreal (actually from Athens, Georgia!) was founded by Kevin Barnes who continues to lead it to this day. This show from 2009 was captured on a rare tour to Australia and followed the release of their album "Skeletal Lamping" famously released in ten different formats (including T-shirts, tote bags, and even a paper lantern, each with an accompanying digital download - remember them?). You get the idea.
  • Live at the Annandale Hotel, Sydney. The names and pedigrees say it all. Keith Morris (Black Flag, Circle Jerks), Dimitri Coats (Burning Brides), Steven McDonald (Redd Kross) and Mario Rubalcaba (Hot Snakes/Earthless/Rocket From The Crypt) Fresh from supporting their mates Red Hot Chili Peppers in New Zealand during 2013, OFF! took the opportunity to drop in to Sydney and deliver a frenzied, full-throttle attack on Sydney’s Annandale Hotel. Unleashing wrecking balls like ‘Now I’m P*ssed’ and ‘Poison City’ from their self-titled debut, the super-group brought the ruckus in true old-school style as more than one Chili Pepper was spied in the audience at this show.
  • Live at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. These Swedish heavy metal masters made a helluva racket at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre in 2011, and it sounded glorious (and still does!). Check out their opening track ‘The Devil’s Orchard’ to get a taste - it's free!
  • Live at the Metro Theatre, Sydney. In 2008, the thash metal gods treated Sydney’s Metro Theatre to an epic night of fast-paced fury.
  • Live at the Brixton Academy, London. From Byron Bay to London’s Brixton Academy in 2016. The Australian five piece turned it up to 11 with bellowing vocals, humming bass lines, thrash along solos and a touch of pyrotechnics. It’s mental to say the least!
  • Take a step back in time and explore the Byron Bay metalcore legends that are Parkway Drive live at No Sleep Til Festival in Sydney on 18 December 2010.
  • Live at the Annandale Hotel, Sydney. Paul Dempsey is the lead singer, guitarist and principal songwriter of Australian rock group Something for Kate. This show from 2009 was in support of the release of his first solo album whilst continuing his work with Something for Kate.
  • Live at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne. It wouldn’t be Christmas in Australia without sun, sand…and the annual Paul Kelly Making Gravy show! As we head towards the end of 2022, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring you one of Australia’s greatest singer/songwriters, with his cracking band, in front of a capacity crowd at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl just a couple of short weeks ago. As ever, the Making Gravy shows always bring the hits - this year with added Christmas cheer, and more than a few choice covers just to round out one hell of a night. You’ll want to put this one on high rotation.
  • One of Australia's finest is back on Moshcam at his grandest and greatest! Check out the best of Paul Kelly's classic hits in this choice cut from Paul's 2022 Making Gravy Concert at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
  • Live at the Metro Theatre, Sydney. “What a lovely little civilised Sunday night concert this is!” It’s hard to imagine the Modfather holding a civilised gathering back in his rebellious days with The Jam, but on this Sunday night Paul Weller and his band ended a trio of Sydney shows with a final, extraordinary performance in the intimate surrounds of the Metro Theatre. Australian fans had waited more than two decades for Weller’s long-overdue 2008 shows, and when he returned with his Wake Up The Nation two years later when we filmed this show, none of that anticipation had dissipated. Few musicians have flown the Mod flag with the same style as Weller, and thankfully that night he delivered the same degree of punk rock passion he had in the ’70s to the eager crowd. The sharply dressed silver fox delighted them with spirited tunes including ‘From The Floorboards Up’, ‘Into Tomorrow’, ’22 Dreams’. And true to his word (“I promise to play you some old tunes in a little bit…if you behave”), he threw in Jam hits ‘Pretty Green’ and ‘Art School’ plus the classic ‘Shout To The Top’ from his days with The Style Council. Now that’s entertainment.
