Live at The Metro Theatre, Sydney. The Vines had it all in front of them with the release of their debut album ‘Highly Evolved’ in 2002 - including an NME Single of the Week (for the title track), an appearance on the cover of Rolling Stone (the first Australian artist since Men At Work in 1983 to achieve that) and a number 11 album on the US charts. With a ‘90s spin on '60s garage rock they were an unstoppable and frenetic live force. That stellar debut was always going to be a hard act to follow, singer/songwriter/guitarist Craig Nicholls continued to push his artistic vision and their live performances remained nothing less than hypnotic. This short and sharp show, from 2007, followed the release of their 3rd album ‘Vision Valley’.
