  • Live at the Troubador, West Hollywood. Indie folk’s original queen Beth Orton hold court in this intimate Los Angeles show, filmed exclusively by Moshcam in June 2013. Both powerful and vulnerable, the English siren seduced fans with eternal alt-classics like ‘Stolen Car’ and ‘She Cries Your Name’ alongside selections from her then current release ‘Sugaring Season’, which The Guardian gave four stars and called “a fresh, autumnal album that’s unashamedly mature yet impressively free”. “I’m playing all the classic joints. That’s what you say over here, right?” she asked between songs with a smile. In a true treat for fans, she was joined by husband and fellow muso Sam Amidon for six sublime tracks on the night. So relax, sit back and breathe in the beautiful sounds of Beth Orton live
  • Live at the Metro Theatre, Sydney. Straddling psychedelia and pop, we caught this UK outfit in 2009 off the back of their second album, Twenty One (released in 2008 and mixed by one of the greats, Nic Launay. Still going strong by all accounts, this show captured them in their prime.
  • Live at Sidney Myer Music Bowl. The phrase ‘all killer, no filler’ has never been applied more appropriately than to the three albums (so far!) from New Zealand’s truly fabulous The Beths. From the hook laden fuzzy pop and energy of the first album to the somewhat broader palettes of the second and third, every song is an absolute winner. We were fortunate enough to catch them in late 2022 when they formed part of the Paul Kelly Making Gravy bill (great choice Paul!). This show is worth putting on repeat!
